First Time Using Humira

I will be starting humira this week and very nervous. I have severe psoriasis. I have tried everything since the age of 12. I am now 44. It took a lot to get approved and now its here. What should i expect. I have never had a allergic reaction to anything, so I'm not worried to much about that, but I have been reading all the posts and now I'm nervous. If I could get any experience or advice I would appreciate it.

I understand your concerns and why reading posts about it have made you worry more, however, it might help if you are made aware of how sites like this work...

Most people do not have a problem with any given medication, which means that they have no reason to go online and look for a site like this to complain, or ask for more information. Thus, there are millions of people out there who use it and have no issues, it is only the minority that have issues that give them reasons to hunt up a site like this to seek answers, more information, or others that have experienced the same issues that they have.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that only about 2 to 3% of people taking any given medication are posting online about it. Which leaves 97 to 98% of people using it successfully without any problems, or at least without any reasons severe enough to make them hunt up medication websites for more details and commiseration.

The FDA lists the most common side effects of this medication as possibly including body aches, nausea, ear congestion, fever, stomach pain, and diarrhea.
