First Time Taking Oxycodone

I've never taken oxycodone/acetaminophen 7.5/325 in my life until yesterday for pain. I took a total of 1 3/4 pills total and don't plan on taking any more. I took 1/2 pill at 10 am, another 1/2 at 2 pm, 1/2 at bedtime and this morning I cut the remaining 1/2 pill in half and took that at 7 am. When would it be safe to drink wine? It is now 12 hours after I took the last 1/4 pill.

After 12 hours it should fine, but it would be best to double check with your pharmacist to be certain.

The main reason you are told not to drink with it is due to the way alcohol tends to worsen the side effects, which can include depression of the central nervous system. In some cases, if someone indulges in too much of either one, there is a risk of death, according to the FDA.

It is also warned that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
