First Time Concerta And Not Working
UpdatedHello. Today was the first day I took my concerta. I took one 18mg at 9am this morning and by noon I still haven't felt it. So at around 1.30-2pm I took another 18mg. It is now 4.15pm and I still haven't felt any difference. I still can't focus on my studying, but my head and stomach feel just slightly different but not my brain. I can feel the lost of appetite a little bit but that's it. I still can't focus on my work. I am quite afraid that it will start kicking in by the time I go to bed. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

Have you consulted your doctor?
While the Methylphenidate in Concerta is a stimulant and will have some immediate effect, it's going to take several weeks for it to reach its full effectiveness in the body, similarly to other medications.
So, you do need to give it some more time.
