First Experience With Suprep
UpdatedI am having the colonoscopy tomorrow a.m. and will take my first dose of Suprep in about 10 minutes. I had the procedure done about 9 years ago, using the old prep method. Based on what I'm hearing and reading, the Suprep should be a little more tolerable.

How did it go?
Several people have asked about it, but no one has posted back yet to say whether or not they had good results from using it, as compared to the old ones.

The prep was tolerable. No vomiting, no other major problems. The only complaint is that I had to take the second dose at 1 a.m. The first dose was at 4 p.m. i got only 2 hours of good sleep. I was feverish from dehydration, so I got IV fluids right before the procedure started at 8:30 a..m. They gave me propofol and it took 20 seconds for me to go unconscious, but I awoke 25 minutes later in recovery, feeling pretty good. Doc told me the test was fine with no polyps, and no other issues.
Having my first colonoscopy tomorrow am. Just finished my last Suprep at 10:00 pm. Everything was much easier than expected. I didn't eat meat for a week before prep, pretty much stuck to light meals. No problem with nausea or cramping. The Suprep does not taste good but it's only 2 - 16 oz glasses spread apart. You can do it !! Very satisfied with the result !!
