I took a 3 month course of Xarelto to clear a DVT following an extended hospital visit. I took the last dose 3 days ago. I have had severe lower back ache and a headache since stopping. Is this coincidence or cold it be related? I was in the hospital with severe anemia and am still fighting to get my iron back up. Blood count is in normal range after transfusions.

No, those are normal withdrawal effects, many people have reported such symptoms, after finishing their course of treatment. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience diarrhea and dizziness. If they continue past a few weeks, or get worse, you should consult your doctor.
