Finding Relief With Oxycodone
UpdatedI am 69 yrs. Old and have been taking oxycodone for 31, yes thirty-one, years for chronic pain. Long history of physical abuse, 3 types of cancer, injurys and PTSD. I started taking them in other ways than prescribed, 30 Mg., about 3 years ago to get the "instant " relief when my pain was "white hot " and I couldn't brave myself through it long enough for it to go to work if taken orally. About an hour later I take one orally to get through the next 3 hours, then repeat the process until my "BAD DAY" passed. I only do them this way on my bad days when I only get out of bed to go to the bathroom because the slightest movement is quite unbearable. I hate the FACT that the addicts and the people who only get them to sell them to the addicts are beginning to make it so difficult to find a new Doctor since I moved. Right now I have to travel 2 & 1/2 hours EACH WAY to get my prescriptions because I cannot find a doctor who will immediately prescribe for me the medications I need. I wouldn't wish my pain on a worst enemy if I had one. My best wishes to anyone bothering to read this very long entry, and God bless you if you're in this same situation.
