Finding A New Doctor To Prescribe Xanax In Palm Coast, Florida

My doctor moved out of state and I am having a heck of a time finding. A doctor who will prescribe my much needed Xanax. I live in Palm Coast, Fl and would gladly drive to Jacksonville if needed.

Looking for a doctor in Palm Coast or st Augustine FL that prescribes Xanax. I just moved here from California and though I've been on it for years the doctors here won't prescribe it

I suggest that you move away from palm coast. Too difficult to get medical care.

Unfortunately, since it is considered to be addictive, many doctors are reluctant to prescribe Xanax, Alprazolam, even if a patient has been taking it for years. You can read more about it and its classifications on the detailed Xanax page here, and on Daily Med, though this is just one example of the many tablets available on the market. There is also a warning about using it the same time as opioids.

In most cases, it is better not to ask your doctor for a specific medication, but rather to let your medical records speak for you, when seeing a new doctor. Additionally, there are no guarantees that any doctor will prescribe any specific medication.

As Penny has stated, that area is known to be very problematic, though this information isn't very helpful, since moving isn't always affordable and practical.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Hey Ver,

Florida had a very bad problem with Pain Pill mills that opened everywhere, similar to all the Pot stores that have opened in California. Millions of pills were sold unregulated and now pills are very hard to find there as all the mills were shut down. Even the Supermarkets can't sell Liquor, just Beer & Wine

Look for doctors or psychiatrist that take cash only. Those are the doctors still writing

I moved away from that crime ridden swamp in 2007, but I see the law was changed in 2017, about the same year all the Mom & Pop pain pill shops were shuttered. Legal pain pill shops in the strip malls yet no 'Booze" in the Supermarket, unless you consider Beer & Wine booze?
