Finding A Doc To Prescribe Oxycodone In Springfield Mo

I have a very bad neck injury and I'm taking 4 x 10mg oxycodone a day for pain. I've moved to Springfield recently and all of the doctors offices tell me "Oh, our policy is never to prescribe narcotics." Even the hospitals won't prescribe it and have a family practice docs list and at the bottom of the page the disclaimer states none of the above doctors will prescribe narcotics. I need help anyone know a good doctor with in 200 miles of Springfield Mo. who will prescribe oxycodone?

I'm looking for a reputable doctor in or near Springfield, MO who can write a prescription for pain medications. My husband's previous doctor did him wrong. He has number one highly qualified certified medical issues - a rare brain surgery and severe sciatica. He is confined to a hospital bed at home with pain so bad.

People that really need help need names as well. A good dr can refuse a drug seeker with no pain causing issues.

Elite pain management told me they encourage patients to smoke cannabis. I don't want to smoke and feel high. I just want pain relief. They treated me awful.

How long did it take for him to prescribe the vicoden for you? Was it the 2nd or 3rd visit? I have nerve damage in my c4 and c5 vertebreas in my neck. Im im chronic severe pain daily. Just wondering?

Hi Mark,
I am very sorry to hear about your issues. I have a painful chronic illness & understand completely the struggle. I just moved to Springfield Mo & I went thru a bad adjustment time with new meds. One of the first meds they prescribed me was oxycodone.. I hated it :( made me very sick but meds work differently on different bodies. The good news I did find someone. I highly recommend Elite Pain Management on Primrose street. You will need your medical records of course. If I can provide any other info I will be happy to do so.

Also .. and of course I do not know your situation, but in Missouri the methadone clinics prescribe Dolophine ( the powerful pain reliever with few side effects) not just Roxane ( the liquid that modifies behavior). I am not a patient of a clinic nor have I ever been & while this is secondhand info it comes from a person I trust. I took Dolophine for 8 years it changed my life. Sadly in Mo I could not find a dr to prescribe it despite my extensive medical records, hence the prescriptions for oxy & other meds. I hope this helps you, I really do. Please check out Kratom. Trust me, it's worth your time as this stuff also works for chronic pain management. I've spoken with a few people and had done some research as well.

PS. Mr Help is a scam. I read a post on here about how he is scamming people out of their pain meds but they didn't give much detail. But I would avoid whoever it is. Sorry

My doctor of nearly 10 years had a stroke a couple of months back. The other doctors in his office will no longer help his patients that take pain medication. I'm happy to tell you my complete story if it would make you feel comfortable in sharing the doctor's information with me. I work 2 jobs and have permanent nerve damage and severe fibromyalgia. {edited for privacy}

I need one in Kansas city Missouri that takes Medicaid and prescribes hydrocodone. I was in bad severe car wreck. Now my back is messed up and I hurt severely all the time. Also in a walker and I haven't found a pain management Dr who will prescribe hydrocodone or percocet 10. I'm tired of hurting. I have Missouri Medicaid.

Hi. I'm a 40/f. I won't bore you all with my medical history, but let's just say if I was a horse they'd shoot me. I have a Dr who's very nice but after cutting my meds dramatically, he refuses to adjust them again. I can keep him for my general health but I need a doctor who understands pain. If anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful.

I am relocating to Springfield, I have all my medical records, a ten year pain management patient, urgently need to find a doctor. I am passed my refill date & as I was affected by the recent hurricane returning to LA / TX is just not possible. Thank so very much for this forum, anyone facing this knows the horror of pain & what happens when we are without meds. I am also self pay making it extremely difficult to get anyone to listen to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
