Find New Doctor In Orange County Ca For Pain

Hi,

I moved from Utah to California just recently. I've been stable on Morphine and Roxicodone for the past 15 years, I have Spinabifida and have been to every supposed pain clinic down here that I keep getting referred to. Back home a pain clinic was a pain clinic. If anyone knows of a doctor that would help me, I'd be grateful.

I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as locating pain management doctors within your general area.

All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results:

Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are.

So has anyone been to any of those drs and gotten a rx for 30mg oxy? Alot of drs in so cal aren't writing rxs for 30mg oxy, so if u just go to these drs you have the chance of wasting hours n hours of bulls*** just to be told they don't write rxs. Unless someone actually goes there already, it's a long shot and total pain in the ass. no pun intended

You must have MRI docs. I'm elderly, never a drug or drinking charge, accident, nothing. Very clean, healthy, taking care of biz. Perfect cat scan. 6 blown discs, neck/back, bone on bone, osteoporosis, arthritis, sciatica. Doc cut me from 280 mgs. to 210 this month! Didn't realize it til I got to the drug store. Doesn't figure dosage via conversion chart. Just trying to survive and function. I do yard work, carry groceries, water cases etc. I call it the drug wars. LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES I NEVER KNOW WHAT I'LL GET! 4/15 mg. then 4/30 mg. now 3/30 mg. 80 soma 3 X! How does that compute?? One oxy 3 X 8 hrs when we all know they only last 3-4hrs, if that. I break them in half. He cut my patch to 75, when it was 100. He's saying I'll die. If Im going to die I'd have been dead long ago. You don't suddenly die, lest you take an overdose. I'm too old and smart for that! Dependent is due to a chronic condition, NOT an addict. It's cuz of *****s who OD. Stats I find are mostly kids up to 30 on 5's and 10's w/ no tolerance or script! SO angry! Then they stereotype us documented old sufferers. Many elders I read about are ending it, rather than suffer cuz they cant get reasonable, safe relief! I know a guy here taking 600mg oxy! INSANE! Only over prescribed opiate naive or severe death wish abusers die! They'll find a way to go one way or the other, so PLEASE don't punish the rest of us innocent responsible copers. There's a petition to sign; I forget the site, but WE ALL MUST SIGN FOR THE MANY NEEDY CHRONIC PATIENTS PUNISHED BY THE SYSTEM. Google it and I'm sure you can locate it. They use the DEA as an invalid excuse, like drug stores who refuse to fill valid scripts (another experience I, many other elders and victims encounter). DEA only cares about pill mills and illegal activity, not legit scripts for chronic sufferers. Lets join together end this abuse! Insult to injury LITERALLY! GOD BLESS AND I PRAY HE SPARES YOUR PAIN!
