I am looking for a doctor that prescibes pain meds like oxycodone n oxycontin. Please help

I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as locating pain management doctors within your general area.

I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients, as some aren't, but most usually are.

Thank you, i am having another problem which u may have an answer or some input. I was getting my pain meds from my family physician before i found a pain doctor she left the practice then my pain doctor leftvthe practice so i had to find a new family doctor, i did he started prescribing my pain meds untilmi found acnew pain specialists but now he left the practice now i have his replacemnt prescribing my meds, my problem is thatnow on my med reports i show all these doctors prescribing meds. As soon as i go to a pain specialist they dont even want to talk to me. How can i handle this situation?

Hey guys my name is Brittany and I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease,fiber myalgia and arthritis.I was prescribed 30mg oxycodone and soma for ten years and then moved out of state for a year and now I'm back in the mesa, az area seeking a new doctor.the down side to this is my previous doctor got shut down and I can't retrieve my records now to transfer to a new doctor.so question is, does anyone know of an easy doctor that would write oxycodone without records in the mesa, az area? Or anywhere near mesa? I also don't have insurance to get new mri's done. If anyone could help, I'd genuinely and sincerely appreciate it. :o) Thank you, Brittany

You can't go into a dr and ask him to prescribe you Oxys 30s. Then u look like just a drug seeker which I think you are!!

I'm in the middle of a 8-month gap where I picked a terrible medicare plan that dumped all Banner doctors, so no access to my primary care MD of over a decade. She is rather conservative in her pain mgmt approach, yet, compassionate and met my moderate needs. I won't list her name online, but she's not only been a Phx Magazine Top Doc, she also trained numerous other Top Docs. Without a replacement, I can't get my meds OR referrals for for 3 surgeries I really should have ASAP, one by an ob/gyn, one by a general surgeon, and one by an ENT specialist. Loss of pain control has made me near suicidal. Any options in Mesa/Phx?

Hello Everyone who have moved to AZ.Has anyone found a nice pain clinic in either Tuscon,mesa,phx?I have 2 weeks left before i run out.I was wondering if i should wean off this last rx i have?Or try suboxone.Really tired of being treated like a drug addict or criminal when I'm 56 and have some issues with pain.If anyone can reply i would greatly appreciate.

My situation has gone from bad to worse. A malicious Nurse Practitioner put errors of fact into my chart after I filed an internal grievance. She's been fired, but my previously impeccable chart has been sullied, and by inference, my integrity called into question.

I will NOT do anything without a respectable doctor's sign-off. And I've turned down offers for legitimate substances that my research indicates will harm my brain. (I'm a biologist, so I go straight to the scientific literature. I'm also a physical trainwreck, so I regard my brain as my only asset of any relevance.)

At least now I have a short-term reason to continue living, i.e. bringing those who have directly harmed me to justice, whether by getting their licenses yanked, Board censures, or malpractice insurance premiums trebled.

I never ask for a specific drug or even class of drugs, just appropriate treatment for my conditions. An NSAID allergy limits the pharmacological options de facto, but I have a host (I once counted over 50) of non-drug strategies (exercise, TENS, meditation...). Just not enough to make life livable.

Hello. I need help finding a doctor willing to write a script for oxycodone 80 mg in Mesa, AZ. I’ve had an addiction for some years, then I found sobriety and then messed my leg up bad and instead of going to the doctor and getting through pill-free, a friend of mine tired of hearing me grunt and walk slow as hell offered me a counterfeit Percocet 30 and it had Fentanyl in it. Long story short, I've tried to stick out getting sober twice, but the half-life on Fentanyl street crap is like 6 weeks plus, then even then, when you can finally have a Fentanyl-free pee it’s hell. Especially if you have pain in your leg that’s extreme and was never addressed. But recently I found a place called A N R in Florida and they do a procedure to help the brain and they put you asleep for the physical pain of precipitated withdrawals, but I need to be on a regular opiate, not the stuff they put in these pills that are going to kill me and it won’t even be overdose. So yea, I need to get prescribed something that will be as strong as what I’m taking now and then taper down for 6 weeks till I can pee clean, then go get better.

Hi, my name is tiffany and I'm trying to help my dad get a new doctor. He has bones of a 110+ year old, chronic pain in both shoulders, hips and knees all have been replaced with priestesses.
