Finally...something Works

I have tried EVERYTHING. Adipex, Aderal, and every over the counter scam imaginable. Wanna know my problem??? ME!!! I EAT and EAT and cook and EAT. I love food and enjoy it with WINE. So is my thyroid the problem? Slow metabolism? NO...ITS ME. Lack of self control, Lack of discipline!! So when I whined and cried at age 45 and 35 lbs overweight to my OBGYN she suggested Contrave. I rolled my eyes and said I don't tolerate the drug thing well at all. I have had No success keeping it off and I hate the way drugs make me feel. Can I JUST have gastric bypass now rather than get to be 600 lbs? She laughed and wrote the prescription. I reluctantly started it and had nightmares in the first two weeks. But since I no longer craved wine as much and lost two pounds in two weeks decided that Jason could chase me around with a knife in my dreams. LONG STORY SHORT...6 months later, 25 lbs down, less wine and food and less nightmares...I'm a happy lady. I TELL EVERYONE I'm on Contrave. I take 2 in the morning and 1 at night. If I take 2 at night I get a little nauseated. IT WORKS!!!!! I don't care how or why it works. I feel great and I wear a size 4. I am happy, healthy and will gladly pay the heavy price tag. CONTRAVE WORKS FOR ME!!!!!!

Hi Eve,

Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience on Contrave. I'm really happy for you taking such big steps to better yourself. With the amount of pounds you're dropping, it's probably just a matter of time before you reach your goals; so mad props to you and keep up the great work! I know weight management is a life long journey as in today's day & age we have to pay close attention to all the things we put in our bodies, but I believe you have what it takes to become the best version of you that you can be. Believing is half the battle. Exercising and eating right is the other half... I hope Contrave continues to immensely benefit you as you leap towards the weight you want to be! Please be sure to update us on how thing are going down the road. Best wishes! :)
