Filling Alprazolam & Adderall Prescriptions

Question about secret medication limits:

So what was happening years ago is that I’d have my Xanax and Adderall (along with my Subutex) sent to one pharmacy. Then inevitably, at the 5 month mark, that pharmacy would “somehow” not be able to order me Greenstone 2mg Alprazolam anymore. Does anyone know if this is because of the opioid limitation policy? I started picking up my Adderall from one CVS and my other meds from the other, which worked fine for about 2 years, but last time there was an issue and I had to have them filled all at the same place, which now, wouldn’t you know, didn’t have full quantity of Xanax in when it had been ordered. I’m wondering if I should stick to having the Xanax and Adderall filled at a different CVS, or from anyone who’s worked there, or experienced this, does it really make a difference? (PS I think last time I HAD to get them all filled from the same place because they were having issues with my insurance at the CVS I usually get my Adderall filled at)…Please advise.

No it has nothing to do with that. It just depends on the distributor that they use and they can only get the meds that that distributor offers.
I have learned that Rite Aid and CVS use the same distributor, then Walmart and Walgreens use the same distributor but a different one than Rite Aid and CVS.

I stopped using Rite Aid and CVS because they were getting the worst generic Adderall I have ever had in my life. It was so bad I’m pretty sure it was fake. Now I just go to Walgreens. They will order different manufacturers as long as their distributor has it.
