Fill Oxycodone Prescription In A Different State

Does anyone know where I can get a prescription filled in Michigan that was written in Pa? I moved out of state and have been on this for over 6 years. What's the deal? It is a legit prescription. This is absolute crap. Help anyone?

I have an out of state prescription and can't get if filled. I didn't go in my state because the visit cost $450.00 as i went out of state and paid $200.00 for the visit. I am TRULY disabled and can't find a place in Louisiana to fill them? any help or knowledge? WALGREENS use to fill them but is now telling me they can't.

I would really live right kn ow whe're you went to get medication wrote. I have sepious pain problems with rsd that I can jot get a doctor to write more than 15 mg. Oxycodobe n please help

Another option is to try an online pharmacy, you may have to wait for shipping but it's better late than never! I think your best bet for finding reputable online pharmacies would be to see the list which the NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) maintains through their VIPPS certification. I've had 1 Dr say prescriptions anywhere in the U.S. but also been told that narcotics can only b filled in the/county that has written it...actually according to corp cvs and corp walgreens its up to the individual pharmacists there at each. I finally got the truth from a Walgreens pharm....i failed their verification in many ways...my dr, it can't be over 60 (30's) with and 80% script of time release the however many it would take (30's or what ever) I.R.s to make up the 20%....good luck again...they say they don't want us Dr or drug store shop but then they make us do it.....oh also they wouldn't take my script bcuz my dr doesn't take my insurance although they do take bc & bs....this is really th only one that makes any cents to me...but really....i've been with him for over a yr and don't to go down for Dr shopping....an i like him! Damn the DFEA...My Dr says its all political and i'm prone to believe him! Thanks for taking the time to read this..

The law's don't seem to be right, across the board. I am in another state than my script came from and I had to go to Costco to get the amount of 5mg tabs I take a month. The bad apples are making things rough. Call around and ask. That's what I had to do. My good script was written in PA and I'm now in CO. Good luck.

Hello all this is Andy - I had been full of vim & vigor as to the prescription horrors out there. However I am now shamed to write - I believe I'm giving up - it's just getting too damn difficult and many people will talk about my thoughts of groups writing to the same politico or agency or perhaps legal action on behalf of those of us suffering true chronic pain, who have tried other measures or couldn't due to financial stressors; all ideas went nowhere-hit the wall. At any rate therefore I have no good news-my private M.D. who does pain management among other physical illnesses has now decreased my med just as I was working up the courage to tell him truthfully that my tolerance was keeping the then slightly higher dose from helping very little. Obviously never got the chance. Then I read somewhere on this site at the CDC giving their "guidelines" to primary care physicians who also work with pain management and knew immediately where this little nugget that is ruining my life-which I didn't have much left of anyway-in terms of being social etc. came from. Now my pain has left me feeling suicidal quite often-obsessed with my pills; deeply depressed-you all know the lousy lives we have-I find it analogous to those that think taking away our 2nd amendment rights will keep the bad guys from having guns! Au contraire-the people who need guns for protection won't be able to get them and the 'bad' guys will find a way TO get them. Just as now-the abusers or dealers will get the painkillers somehow and the pain sufferers can't. I'm truly thinking of turning in all the pill sellers I know-who fake very well-have no pain and sell their wares for whatever the market will allow. But if this keeps up I may be forced by our gov't. to be one of their clients. I'm just too poor for their prices. As the real pain persons we would probably pay the most to decrease our suffering. Tolerance-really leaves you in the rock and a hard place position. However if meds are our only choice left what are we to do? Right now I'm out of hope and really have no answers. Thanks for letting me rant and vent. Love to all in pain. Oh-forgot to mention thanks to the CDC for the guidelines-(ha) that gave pain patients that brief am't. of time to express their 'feelings.' I had not personally been aware of it-PLUS they admit to throwing away perhaps half of the responses due to 'similarity"! Of COURSE they're similar! We're all in pain and need strong medication. What did they want to hear? Stories about puppies & rainbows? How pathetic to skew the results to satisfy what they had a foregone conclusion about.

I HAD TO DRIVE FROM CHICAGO IN THE MIDDLE OF MY VACATION IN AUG TO NC JUST BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD FILL MY RX FOR OXYS IS STUPED ALL THEY HAD TO DO IS CALL MY DR AND I HAD USED THAT PHARMACY FOR 12 YEARS WHEN I LIVED IN CHICAGO BUT THEY WOULDNT FILL IT I SPENT 30 HOUR DRIVING TO NC AND BACK TO CHICAGO JUST SO I COULD SPEND 4 WEEKS ON VACATION

I had trouble filling a controlled substance in California with a prescription from Mass but it was only because California had specific rules about what was on the prescription and the mass pad didn’t have that stuff on it. Otherwise it would have been fine. I did not have any trouble picking up refills at CVS there when my original script was at a CVS in Mass. it was just the paper script.
