Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 42)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

Florida has created a horrible situation that harms disabled law abiding citizens in an attempt to lower abuse by criminal elements. Is it proper to, in an attempt to prevent abuse by unscrupulous individuals, pass laws and enact regulations that harm law abiding citizens. It is as if we prevented the sale of alcohol to all in an attempt to prevent DUI instead of punishing those who abuse alcohol.
There is something wrong with this.

It actually is so wrong that your proposal very well may be taken up by some. What is especially frustrating and dangerous is that my doctor stated I should be on xyz, however he feared it would trip some warning causing him to be investigated. I also mentioned in an earlier post how the pain doctors decide BEFORE seeing a patient what meds they would change qty of in an attempt to meet the regulations. This is not good medicine.
Also, has any one else been adversely effected by Obamacare. My policy is cancelled as of 12/31/2013. When I went on the exchange (I was able to get on ONLY the 1st day over 2 weeks ago at what point I registered but was signed off before completing) the Silver policy offers me less service for over 200.00 more per month with thousands more in deductibles. On top of that I see the maximum out of pocket expense has been given a waiver for a year by Obama.Why does it seem that it is making life harder for many of those who are sick. I have been diagnosed with stage 3c cancer, but I will be OK. Too stubborn to die. What about the elderly and others who are sick. This is wrong.

Help! My wife gets some medications and we are having nothing but problems month after month here in Florida getting them. Nothing but the run around and the Doctors and the Pharmacies say their hands are tied. She can't get a prescription till it's due and then no one has it in stock and say they must order and it will take a week. We are very angry, here we are knowing that the med's are out there and I listen to her cry because she's in pain. It's like we are dirty or something and that the moral leaders of our state wish we would just have her die from the pain and leave them alone. I have even complained to some of the drug companies thinking at least they would be upset that we can not get their products, and it seems they could care less also. Is there any Politician out there that gives a damn about us?

We to start somehow. I know of doctors that have actually cured cancer patients with massive opiate doses, also multiple personalties and a list of other ailments with opiates! He retired one month before I found him but he referred me to a good doctor. Opiate is not a four letter word! It is a very beneficial ingredient that God put here for our use? How dare the government prohibit or limit its uses! Im all for an opiate dispensory similar to the mmj dispensaries. If someone over does it why should everyone be punished? Let us get what we need. Im headed to Moran and Morgan website now, thank you.

Why are the meds so expensive? I know that alot of the prescription cards wont cover opiates, right? Well, use the card for a non opiate med and ask them to keep in on your file. I get 120 30mg oxy and they're under $70 cash. I use a walgreens and they have even ordered the new impax oxymorphone for me. They hadn't heard of it and it wasn't in their system but he went ahead and ordered it for me. Ive said it once and I'll say it again. Be pleasant. Go there for other items and stop by to just say hello to the pharmacist. Always be pleasant, yes, even when you run out early and you're in withdrawal and they still wont fill it till the 30th day. Leave the script there and find someone to help you get thru it. They do make mistakes too. I was told "not till Tues" and that was 5 days too late so i kept calling until someone finally said, "oh, you can get them tomorrow" . Sometimes its like a cellphone carrier. Just keep calling back until you get someone different who gives you the answer you need.

All pharmacies. Can order this same meds. I know this, because I went to a very well known Pharmacy and I was told that they would have to order it, which would take a week. that very well known pharmacy was Walgreens and CVS. I live in Indiana.

Well an update to my post last week...im in complete shock but in a good way, not sure if i got lucky or things are beginning to change, maybe all the complaints from good decent people being treated like crap. I was in pure desperation last week when i found out my regular pharmacist had to leave town ans wouldnt be able to order my meds for a week, after completely writing off walgreens it was a last ditch attempt to at least find one of them to get me by. LOW AND BEHOLD I WALKED IN A WALGREENS AND WAS TREATED LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING AND WAS TOLD I HAVE EVERYTHING, I JUST NEED 2 HOURS TO REVERIFY EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HADNT BEEN THERE IN SO LONG!!!! I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA FAINT!!!! He was so nice, ecen telling me he could order for me if he did not have! Im so grateful ive ended up in er twice in last year, what a blessing...i pray the rest of you find your meds, i brought a letter from my doc, my records and mris and just handed him everything....THERES STILL GOOD PHARMACISTS OUT THERE SO DONT GIVE UP! He even said if hes not tgere he cant guarantee the others would do it but as long as i c him because he checked my whole file i was fine...dont give up people, go in and speak to them with all your info:-)

Debra, it is sad that one of the highest hurdles we face in our treatment is not fighting the disease or finding a good doctor, but finding a pharmacist who treats us with respect. A year ago had I read your post and witnessed how ecstatic you are because a pharmacist filled your rx I would have thought you had issues. Regrettably, today I fully understand your relief.

Hello to everyone in pain in DAYTONA,PORT ORANGE,ORMOND BEACH
I suffer from "TURNERS SYNDROME/osteomyelitis" im actually missing bones in my hands from birth. When i wake up in the morning i can even open up a cap on a bottle or hold a tea kettle until
I take my pain meds.

Im going to give you actual pharmacies that have filled for me.

1)DAYTONA: ormond beach pharmacy in strip mall on GRANADA (between nova/ridgewood) next to "print your own business cards place" will fill anything some times
2) DAYTONA- BEVILLE rd WALMART for loratabs,norcos all the time 2hrs etc.
3) BEST PLACE EVER if your not a junkie (i say that because i saw someone with scabbed up arms have the pharmacist turn away) is the MEDICINE SHOP in EDGEWATER its in the middle of nowhere and small but they have every pain med. also THE MEDICINE SHOP in port orange on NOVA rd south of dunlawton
4) WALMART port orange clyde morris i used to go to but i moved,but they used to fill in about an hour-2hrs
5) walmart,wayyy out in new symrna on Route-44 i think exit 258 off I-95
6) MOM AND POP pharmacies, DO NOT CALL 1st ,do not try and use discount cards

Yes its really annoying/frusterating trying to get meds for a disability and they treat you like a junkie.
Its not the pharmacies business to tell you,YOUR DOCTOR doesnt know what he is prescribing.
If your an adult and YOUR DOCTOR WRITES YOU A MED,they should treat you with respect and fill it.
Everyone on here talks about complaining,but the best course of action is BOYCOTTING those stores and tell friends and family not to buy anying from there.
When the place loses 30-40% of their business that is more of a wake up call than a customer complaint,they dont give a s***, they still make millions and your still in pain or SICK from NO MEDS.
We need to start a website without all the chatter and just names of GOOD QUALITY REPUTABLE DOCTORS AND PHARMACIES that will FILL.
I posted these to help you ALL. Because when i first moved i was sick for three days without meds and my doctor was out of town and couldnt change meds and it was morphine sulfate.

PLEASE POST PHARMACIES for OXYCONTIN,OXYCODONE,DILAUDID and OPANAS, those are getting more difficult to find "IN STOCK". Its all bulls*** they are making 4-5x the amount and wont take insurance nor discount cards.

Post pharmacies address or directions, this was 42pages of unanswered questions.

Sorry you jad a problem and were sick for three days. Most here are sock at least that much per month due to DEA crap and doctor paranoia. ALL pharmacies will fill for all of those. It just doesnt he to call and ask ahead of time. Back in the 70's we were drugstore bandits and aociety survived along with the continued prscribing of them. Its all just govt. media propaganda to demonize God gift of opiates.

I found out yesterday that as of this past Oct 1, many of the opiates cant even be prescribed unless in a hospital setting. My goo d doctor also mentioned the pain relief implant that came out a few years ago. The corporations asked him to use it. It gets placed in back of neck and block pain impulses. He felt uncomfortable placing anything i side of folks so he declined. Found out it was not that effective for pain and was actually a govt. tracking device. As a Christian I hate to behave rebelliously but our best bet is finding a corner H dealer as back up when all the meds are gone. Fema camps are in Ohio, Md, Texas and lots of other places and yes we are first choice to get tossed in there since we are sick and a drain on sustainable living. I hate to through my conspiracy theory in this forum but we usually stay so sidetracked with our meds that we neglect to see the big writing on the wall. I think thats thhe main reason our meds are dificult to get. Its all govt distraction from new world order impementation.

ive been to the same pain dr. for 9years. ive taken oxi 30 for 9 years.my doc is better than legit,he bought himself the entire 3rd floor.he was someone i trusted.where are all our doctors that put us on this stiff now,wheres their accountability from them.over 9years i have watched his clientele not exacally cream of the crop,shaddy,and it stayed like that for up till now.i now see people with crutches,injuries, people that really need help .docs friend jerry put in a drugstore right down the stairs from my pain doc.Awfully Coinsadencil? people waiting in their cars reafy to biy/sell whatevet jerry sold em. oxy for sure.i know alot about this doc and ive got the dea on speed dial. Hes a bad dude,many have died because of his lack of concern. their all trying to save their own ass.to late. anyway,sorry for that,anyone know where i can get my skript 180/30mg? I live in sarasota and am willing to drive.

Hi

I have been posting here for about 9 months now. It seems like when I resolve one situation another comes up. I am in the Sarasota area, where this whole pain doctor situation is incredible. As my past posts show, I am being treated without being seen (I am seen every month, but my treatment is determined prior to my visit) I had been getting treatment from my oncologist and surgeon in NYC, however when I moved to FL to be near my wifes family should I have an unpleasant outcome to my battle with cancer, I ran into this whole pain medication mess. I was introduced to the concept of a "pain doctor" by the local oncologist who is hesitant to prescribe pain meds due to tight oversight. I agreed not to get pain meds from any doctor other than the pain doc (makes for unpleasant dentist visits). In NY I was at a level that allowed me to function. The Fl pain doctor cut the dose by over half because what I was taking was not in the ratio and qty that the oversight wants these meds prescribed in. I went from going to my daughters school functions to pretty much staying in bed and living through this damn computer. I spoke to my doctors in NY and they found a doctor they work with in Miami that would treat me. That is about 4 hours away. Is there a solution other than flying to NY or driving to Miami?

I agree with you 100%! its sad when your living in pain and with a disability and have to be "dope sick" like a junkie because the doctors,pharmacists and manufacturers are in kahoots and its all just a big racket!! Everyone on here needs to watch these FREE documentaries on youtube:

I would be there with you, watching the vids and marching at rallies, BUT I am simply not well. What then am I hoping for... ? I am not totally sure, perhaps that people read these posts and realize there is something wrong going on, that people are being mistreated. That's all. I'm disgusted with it all. Sorry.

Yes, according to my CVS, in Pinellas County FL, we CANNOT get regular Percocets, and the generic A 333 made by Pharma are ALL they can get. I too am on disability, and am EXTREMELY frustrated by the suffering my family endures and myself because of the war on oxycodone. I even changed from 15 mg oxy's to 10/325 which were suppose to be easier to fill. ANY information will be helpful.

Here is a problem I had...I had a wonderful pharmacist at Walgreens that filled for me every month unless they were out and he would tell me where to go. December he was transferred to another city. I used another Walgreens (because, of course, I couldn't get the medicine filled by the replacement pharmacist) and the sweet pharmacist at my other pharmacy that filled when my main Walgreens were out, denied me! I was totally shocked. Her response was I had been using the other Walgreens. So now, because my pharmacist was transferred, I wasn't approved in their GFD new law, which I had been since they started the GFD, I can no longer fill at Walgreens. Now I pay 300 percent more! So beware, one day you may just go to Walgreens and get denied...It's ridiculous! I had filled with them since 2009! Something has got to be done, but I don't thing it's ever going to change. I agree with one poster on here...BOycoTT the big drug stores! I hope they both go out of business!
