Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

Thanks for the advice!! I was really scared to try the subs but took two this morning and one this afternoon and I feel too incredible.. not what I was expecting at all!! I'm actually a little too high on them so I'm gonna cut back tomorrow to just one.

KRISTY- btw, i have taken suboxone once(the 8mg strip put under tounge dissolves.
make sure you are 15 hours(preferably 18 hours minumum) since taking the last dose of oxy or any opiod. otherwise, the suboxone wont work right and will make you sick. but for me when my dr got shut down in june, my buddy gave me a suboxone strip and it worked better than when i had methadone before.
long story short, you wont need to do more than 2-3 days of suboxone(or else your body will get used to it and you have terrible withdrawls from it just like roxies) so by day 3 on suboxone, all the roxicodone is out of system(mostly) and now i find it best to on day 3 stop the suboxone until you find a new doctor for pain meds...you may feel a little flu-like withdrawl but nothing like what the detox would have been without the suboxone. and youll be fine in 24-72 hours from there and your good to go. need any advise or anything contact me xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy} and ill get in touch with you. keep us posted and write me and i can tell you where to go in vero and who to see but dont wanna do it on the open internet so email me and i will help any way i can for you. you have a great day sweety, im off to the pharmacy to pre pay my meds while he has already ordered them for me. then by tuesday, things will begin getting good for me. God Bless and I will keep praying for everyone going through this...we are in this together people, lets stand up and keep fighting and things will eventually "lighten up" and get better.

Kristy-Hope things get better for you. My pharmacy called last night to confirm he will order my oxycontin for me out of county. so lucky and blessed. been going through 5 months of hell since my old dr was shut down.
you have a degenerative disease too...me too..i took a round in iraq to my face/jaw/neck survived. leaving me with shattered jaw and plates in my neck and severe spinal stenosis. i feel your pain. Malone is a DICK(excuse the phrase but he is or his office is..i had referrals and he never called in 5 months...bs man)
but on the bright side, i found a pharmacy to fill my st lucie doctor in vero. feeling blessed. i am 40(born 4/20/72) really am a 420 child:) my shooting happened 1995 when i was 23 so i know what its like to be young like you and have to go through this...just in 2000-2011 was no problem then all of a sudden no doctor wants to risk helping anyone...i cant wait to move on soon once my case hearing with the military courts is over within the next 6 months and ill be getting 4 years back pay, health coverage and wont ever have to deal with this s*** again as ill have some good benmefits...
on the real, its not fair what there doing to us all.
my meds just got alot better now then they were for past 5 months so i cant complain but still well below the "comfortable" pain threshold Im use to since 1995 with oxycodone and oxycontin in 4 times what im getting now so my body took the past 5 months to adjust to this bs dosage but better than nothing so not complaining..I will say prayer for you Kristy and if you ever wanna hang out im new to vero and would love to have starbucks or whatever...lemmie know if you need a friend to hang with like me maybe we can meet sometime...im athletic, financially ok, futures looking brighter and if i didnt tell you my face was blown away you could never tell by looking at me...most people dont believe me cause Jesus and the doctors put me back together so well. God Bless and if you need anythin write me and ill hit you up...peace out:)

I am actually from there originally before I moved a couple years ago and I used to see leibowitz...and go to the walgreens right down the road where the girls told me to go.. He is a great guy, very caring and understanding...although the girls in front can be pretty moody..

Oh, I thought you had a doc in i.r county.. I was gonna tell you to try Millers Health Mart on 37th by the hospital, I've been going there for a few years, but they wont fill out of county if you're going to st. lucie now.. It is so horrible what the dea is doing to people everywhere!! Even if you did get a doc in town.. they're most likely not going to give you anything that will help but wont tell you that until after you see them because they want your money!! I've got one blue left! Thank god I asked my last doc for suboxone before he got shut down... I kinda felt this war coming.. so I've got 30 8mg films of suboxone... not sure if its enough to wean off ok and still function at work etc. never tried it before.. but I guess its better than nothing!! I was also told to try the publix in Sebastian off US 1 talk to Frank only, he's there on Friday's!! The girl that works with him told me this! Good luck, let me know how it works out!

I'm a 49 year old Male, married with 3 kids; still in school and I live in Ft Myers FL. I have been taking Oxycodone 10/325 for over a year now after an Auto Accident that left me with exposed nerves being pinched in my Lower Back with severe pain 24/7. The Percocet or Oxycotin is the Only Medication that relieves the Pain so I can go about a somewhat Normal Life. I believe that I will be undergoing back surgery but until that time my only thank that allows me to be Mobile is the Meds. I had been filling at a CVS or Walgreens up until this past month. Now Both Pharmacy's tell me the Same Story, I don't feel Comfortable Filling this Prescription for you.) That all they are Legally Allowed to say! So after 30 plus Pharmacys Visit the Past two days, I feel that they have Tagged a Note in the Computer that my Dr accepts Cash Paying Customers, therefore they will NO LONGER fill any Scripts from that Dr. I come to this Conclusion after calling a New Alternative Pain Management Clinic and being told that they Just Stopped Accepting Cash Paying Customers 2 Weeks Ago. I believe the DEA has stepped in and told the Pharmacy not to accept scripts from Cash Accepting Clinics/Doctors that write controlled medication scripts as their latest attempt to stop the Abuse. So now I shared this with my Dr, and I must switch Doctors and it looks like I am a "Dr Shopper" all this as I am in Severe Pain as I took my Last Oxycodone yesterday Morning. Hope this helps some of the people on this Forum as they look to relive chronic pain and find the Right Doctor.

Dear discusted! I am not a stupid woman! This is your reply to Mr. Dan Williams! Post #509

"You are so right DAN Williams!! I agree that they are not the Doctors and it is none of their business what all my conditions are. Disability and all of the numerous Doctors I have had to go to including the ones that Disability sent me to have determined that my conditions make me disabled and that I will suffer from horrible chronic pain for the rest of my life. I have tried everything else that is available to help my pain problems from physical therapy to epidural shots, and everything in between. Do they really think we want to be on this medication for the rest of our lives? I would just like to have my body back to the way it was before all of the terrible things that happened to me occurred. It would take me hours to tell them all of my accidents, beatings, surgeries, injuries, Doctors I've seen and all the rest and they are NOT Doctors as you said. Their job is to fill our prescriptions NOT to decide if we need the medications or not. Thanks for putting it so well and to the point! " Now this next one is what you posted for me! Post # 518

Patricia, That may be a lot of school and I am presently working on my Doctorate in Information Technology but that does not make her a Medical Doctor which requires much different schooling, internship in a hospital, etc. I will be a "Doctor" too when I graduate but it will be a PhD not a medical doctor so it is quite different. I hope your daughter is not the type of pharmacist that we have here in St. Lucie County. There are the occasional few that seem to really care but most of them are just concerned about their own skin and could care less about their customers and what is happening to them. Thems the facts mam and they bite! I wish it wasn't like that. The Medical Doctor is has all of my years of tests, xrays. MRIs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, many different surgical procedure reports, different reports from doctors and miles of reports from his office as well as other things so he is well informed of my conditions and he writes my prescriptions knowing all of this information. I then take my prescriptions to the pharmacist who knows NOTHING about me or my conditions and he/she is supposed to fill it. No happening at that is Wrong! There is no way to sugar coat it. This is not happening in any other state and the drugs are still on the street available to the junkies and drug abusers. The medication has just been taken away from the people who really need it. The governor is fooling himself if he thinks he has stopped the problem in this state. Due to the centralized computer system, he realized how many oxycodones were being ordered by pharmacies and set out to lower that number. He should realize that in this state we have a lot more people that have retired and may need pain medication and people who are in pain tend to migrate to a warm place. I certainly wouldn't live in a cold state because cold weather exacerbates my pain. Therefore that is why we have a high number of pain medication prescribed in Florida,

After attackingt me for a few sentances I wrote about my daughter pharmacist, I will now question you!!!! If you are so disabled as you have quoted in your first post how is it that you are going to have a PHD? How can you possible go to school or work for that matter when you are disabled! I could say a lot more but won't. Unless you want to post some more s*** for us to read!

Lastly! All you need to do is read! I have posted about the DEA shutting down CVS pharmacies and distribution centers, also Wallgreens distribution center here in Jupiter florida! They have prosecuted endless numbers of doctors running pill mills! They have went after airport employees for looking the other way for a cash payout when people boarded a flight lovingly referred to as OXY EXPRESS which was used by out of state people to come into our state and hit as many clinics as they could in a few days and then fill all their scrips and fly back home! You are delusional if you think that all the pain clinics that were opperating a few years ago were neccessary or even legit!

As for me, I am sick that the DEA let our state get to the point that legitamate pain patients can not get their medications. However doctors and pharnacists are bending under pressure from the DEA to limit these very powerful pain killers and you are a bold face lier if you deny that if you did have one of of these medical degrees that you too would not bend to their demands. These people went to school for a very long time to get these degrees which in many cases was a hardship financially and no one can expect them not to fear the DEA when they have already seen the consequences of the DEA in action!
PS. Sorry for my ramble but bulls*** does not fly!

Thanks Bridgette :) & you are so right about dilaudid on iv, I got that when I was in hospital for over a week without any problems. Not so much in pill form though! If you can, try opana, I'm real happy with the results. 10 Mg I.r. & 20 Mg e.r.
