I'm in fort myers - but have traveled to naples and north fort to fill oxy 30mg... and no one has anything and my dad just sighs and tells me not to worry... but i hate to see him all seized up from pain!!!

Try the walgreens on clevland, I'm from out of town and don't know the area that well but a friend of mine says he lives in ft myers, he has cancer n said he dosent know how'd he live if he couldn't get his mess but that the walgreens on north Clevland has had his 240 30's everymonth for past 3 years

Also I was referring to 30mg oxycodone. I ended up paying 500 for mine and i only get 120 up in Sarasota.

Danny, my boyfriend has had 54 surgeries and we are havin the hardest time fidin his oxycodone 30mg. we live near Ft. Myers any suggestions?

I live in Port Charlotte,FL. Ive been prescribed 30mg, 150 per month of roxycodone for almost 2 yrs due to severe chronic back pain,I also have insurance. Im a 50 year old woman, Every month, Ive gone to walgreens in port charlotte, and never had a problem with getting my prescription filled. 1 employee told me good luck with that. I went back last night, and pharmacist said keep checking back as we get them back in. I went there this morning,and another pharmacist told me she wasnt comfortable filling the prescription.. Yesterday, I drove to almost all the walgreens in the area, and no one had any of this medication. I did so again this morning, and still cant get prescription filled. I feel like a criminal, Ive never been in any trouble, and am an upstanding member of society. My husband had a heart transplant, and Im his caregiver, he also is a vietman veteran with PTSD.when I went to the other walgreens,they told to me go to the 1 thats been filling prescirptions.I also went to qite a few indepentantly owned pharmacies, and am being told they dont have med, or theyre not taking any new patients I dont know what to do. Ive never been in this position,I have a few pills left, and Im so scared of the intense pain and impending withdrawals that will follow. I also had gastric bypass surgery, and that limits me to the meds I can take. Im so scared, and feel like Im being treated like a criminal. I dont know where to turn, or what to do.If anyone can give me any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Help, please and God Bless.

Guys I'm going to share some vauge info here. There is one in the cape on the corner of NE Pine Island and Santa Barbara, its a Walgreens. They usually have them Thursday and Friday and then that's it for the week. Also they don't treat you like an addict and be nice but don't look like u feel good when in there. They are first come first serve. The other Walgreens is on the corner of US 41and Woodward the road across from Colonial Blvd. They r first come first serve. They have them late Tuesday and all day Wednesday and it's a gamble after that. They r also nice. Don't waist ur time anywhere else in the county. They don't lie either. If u get there not in time u will have to wait a week for the trucks to deliver. This is up to date info as of 9-13-12. I've never had problems with these Walgreens. Hope this helps. The first is in the NE Cape and the other Ft. Myers. Just remember everything sucks and things could change. Wish u all pain free someday!

HEY Hardtofind in... yeh not having very much luck at all.. Every pharmacy gives ya a different answer. Bunch of B.S then when you do find one that has them, They say oh, well your not a regular customer, sorry..
Ohhhhh I can't fricking stand it when they do that.. the reason I haven't been cause YOU HAVENT HAD THEM!!! I swear, then they say oh try to get your doctor to find you something else... What like something with all that tylenol,asprin in it and cost frigging 600$ ,come on, ya gotta be kidding me.. that's the only reason I get the roxicodones is because they are so much cheaper than say a Percocet 10 or similar.. I say NO WAY! Either make more meds or have the government pay for repairing surgeries so we wouldn't have to take meds.. I'm such the nicest happy go lucky attitude person but, when its like this, I have to vent.. Thanks guys have a good new year..

pt without back surgery, herniation of discs spinal stenosis but a disc bulge, ubder 40 years old are taking ovy 30s for tx of emotional pain; depression; they should all take suboxone instead; eliminate cravings eliminate w/d systems; this group of pts aren't the 50yr oldcarpenter, constrition worker, plumber with chronic nonmalignant pain that require long acting oxycontin fentynl patch, ms contin and for breakthrough pain a short acting oxycodone or opana; ration 80% long actig 20% short acting; this is proper pain management

I'll give it to you straight.
I am a pharmacist in South Florida

- Don't bother calling we don't disclose info over the phone
- I have doctors I will not fill for because I disagree with the way they practice (I went to school for 6+ years solely studying pharmacology I know what I'm talking about)
- if the quantity of over 120 I will search your drug history
- if your doctor is more than 30 minutes from my pharmacy I will call and verify it
- spare me from your sap story, I hear it all day every day
- my license is on the line with ever script I fill so yes I can "pick and choose" if I see fit
- I understand some people are dependent on opioids and withdrawal can be fatal so I do take that into consideration when deciding weither or not to fill your prescription

**the US consumes 75% of the world's manufactured opioids...so does this mean we experience more pain than everyone else in the world? No.
