Fill Out Of State Oxycodone Prescription Need Help! (Page 3) (Top voted first)

Hey, i got a serious question. I live in PA, and i just happened to find a clinic in the michigan area with a good doctor. so my question is if i go to michigan and get a script for pain meds, how would i go about filling the script. being from PA, do i even have a chance of any pharamacys in the area filling it. I know i have a less chance if i bring the script back to PA because no one will fill it if its out of state. can someone give me some helpful insight on what i should do so i dont waste a drive and money. please help.

Dr, McCardell in Southfield mi on lasher and Civic Ctr. Dr. is a excellent doctor and he takes the time to listen to you and explain the medicine he prescribe's you , I recommend him highly!

Last summer I went out of state & had a Rx due the day after I was set to leave. I called the pharmacies in MD & they said they couldn't fill an out of state RX. They said I had to get it filled in the state where it was prescribed. Lucky for me, my doctor approved an early refill & I enjoyed my trip without worries with my pain RX. I also asked the pharmacies in MD about taking it to a pharmacy in my state & getting it filled in another state. If you're paying cash it's fairly easy to get it filled in Michigan. I've seen a commercial about CVS helping to get RX filled so if you can get the DR in Michigan to call it in to PA, you'll be set!

More power to the DEA and whom ever is responsible for cracking down on availability of narcotics. It is long over due. Even though they are placing great hardships upon the legitimate pain patients they are doing the correct thing. If the dope dealers and junkies hadn't gotten into the illegal drug trade for money this situation never would have showed up. Anyone stupid enough to go to a cash only doctor or pharmacy is fooling himself that he is going to a legitimate organization, they are not! Real legitimate doctors take Insurance and not cash. Long ago Tennessee stopped all cash customers you must pay by a documented pay system that Id's the person so he cannot use a false name so he can go to multiple doctors. Come on now, you people cannot be that stupid to believe that a doctor that dispenses pain meds would only take a ridiculously large cash payment, just like any drug dealer these doctors want cash so they can hide it. These doctors are no better than the drug dealers on the street that are often supplied by these same doctors. So now the drug dealers must go get a real job or return to robbery and bank robbery to live the "HIGH" life they once supported by selling narcotics.
Perhaps this war on drugs will actually be won, no longer will it be a guise for hiring a large government workforce geared at employing the former military that are essentially unemployable because they never learned a real trade other than law enforcement of which we have more per capita than any other country in the free world..

I am in the Michigan area and am having a problem finding a dr up here to use even though I have 10 years of medical records that are legit. I moved here from FL and it would help me so much if you could disclose the Michigan dr name and # so I don't have a lapse of meds... Thanks so much! Hey, im a truck driver passin through, you wouldn't have anything you could get rid of I was in a car accident in 2007 and broke my right hip and right humerus and where I live is impossible to get into the doctor because of abuse

Hi my name is lois and i promise i can help you if you plz help me by letting me go to your doc . I know all the rules and info per state when it comes to filling rx but recently my doc closed . Its good to have friends because one day your doc will get shut down . Plz write back with how to talk to you , phone number or email , i dont know how this web site works . You can't CALL In a schedule 2 narcotic you have to present a paper rx. Now maybe they can take a FAX or mail it to ur pharmacy but ur waiting n driving back to pa. I have had to travel before in midst of rx being due and my Dr wld never fill early said any pharmacy out of state wld take it. He wouldn't believe me that wasn't not true and had to reschedule my vacation around my rx. Now I'm off the meds..Dr stopped writing offered nycenta..made me horribly ill. Did not help my pain. Neither did the oxy but it made it more tolerable..never gone tho.
