Fill Methadone Script In Tampa I Cant Pharmacy ??

Every pharmacy is telling me they do not have methadone inTampa? Any ideas

I have tried for 3 days to find a pharmacy in tampa to fill methadone.Any ideas please help

If you have prescription insurance coverage, then the best suggestion I can make, which has helped quite a few other people that have the same problem, is to call them and ask if they have a preferred mail order provider that you can use.

The full details of what is going on have not been released yet, but this has been going on for a few months now and in various parts of the country, so you aren't alone. There are many people running into the same problems obtaining their needed medications.

Its the same in Alabama I have been filling mine at a small pharmacy for the past yr or so, I had called a couple after I had scene post to this nature in the past and they had give me this bullsh*t story about the DEA only allowing them to fill so many scripts of oxys and methadone a month and they only had enough for there regulars(people that had been filling there for the last 6 months), so I thought maybe it was getting that way but wrote it off, then yesterday I go to fill mine, and they tell me that there pharmacist just died and they only had 6 pills and that since he was the only licensed pharmacist there that the 6 would be all I could get and they didn't know if or when they could order more, so I have spent the last 24 hrs calling every pharmacy within a hundred miles...same story...wtf... Im screwed...script but no where to fill it, Good Luck...

try getting a script for DOLPHINE it is the same exact thing a methadone, without the stigma attached to it.

Why would you medical practice (doctor) prescribe you a prescription that is useless to you as you cannot find a pharmacy that stocks methadone!!! Contact your prescriber and put it to him/her surely they will be able to help, just a thought
