Fibromyalgia/migraines- What's Helped Me
UpdatedI have Fibromyalgia and Chronic migraines, as well as sleep problems, night terrors, and REALLY bad eye sight Lol. Not sure what that last problem has to do with anything but I thought i'd throw that in there.
Here are a few things that I have been doing to help with my Fibro.
1) Probably the most helpful has been the Vicodin. But DON'T overdo it. I take a half of one 325mg pill all day, and only on the days I really need it. This medication can be very addicting, especially to those of us dealing with things like Fibro, because a lot of times were desparate for relief. They also have the potential to cause strokes, heart attacks and things such as that, and that risk decreases if you take less of it, less often.
2) Aromatherapy. Scents like Lavendar and Chamomille to relax. Cinnamon or citrus to get a little boost of energy. I use peppermint to aid in migraine relief and it works like a charm!!
3) Excerisize. It sometimes can make the pain of fibro worse, but it does help boost my energy and keeps me from gaining a ton of weight, therefor making moving around a lot easier than it would be if I were over weight.
4) Massage. My boyfriend rubs my neck and shoulders when I get a migraine and that really helps.

Thank you for the useful and informative post to our site!
Do you have eye glasses, or contacts? Have you seen an eye doctor?
Because while you facetiously said that it has nothing to do with anything, it actually can cause, or contribute to migraine headaches. The eye strain tends to cause other problems, such as squinting and intense concentration, which can lead to severe headache issues.
