Since so much of it just passes though, isn't there a better form to take that comes chelated or is absorbed better?

What you do you mean by it just passing through?

This is a nutritional supplement that contains Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin and ferrous fumarate.

However, it really doesn't matter what it is, even when it comes to prescription drugs, there are only certain amounts that your body can absorb and use.
