Fentanyl Patches & Hydrocodone Needed Asap Pain Is Returning

Can someone please tell me where I can find a doctor who is not afraid to prescribe fentanyl patches and 10/325 hydrocodone? Due to all the changes that went into affect last year, my doctor has been cutting back on my dosages and my pain has been gradually increasing with each decrease. Just as we found the right combination and I had a nearly two year pain-free life these changes came about and now I am back dealing with pain and my doctor is afraid to treat me as an individual vs the masses. Please help!!!

I know exactly how you feel as I was doing great on methadone and hydrocodone until Congress decided too many people were over dosing. However, anyone can over dose on any medication so why they singled out methadone is beyond me but my life has been hell ever since. I'm sure my doctor would work with you but I live in a small town in Montana, and with her, you have to be seen often; sign a pain contract; have numerous blood draws to ensure your pain regimen isn't messing up your organs, etc. Keep looking as you WILL find a doctor with the common sense he/she was born with and will work with you. Some doctors think pain pills are not for long term; how incredibly ignorant. I had a neck surgery and the only true relief I got was with my methadone, but now they'll only pay for 4 lousy pills a day which is not nearly enough to ease my pain; thus I'm having to get used to the patches and I would much prefer pills as I already ruined one as I was sweating so much, it fell off.
