Fentanyl 50mcg/hr 60mg Ms Contin

I got a serious question to ask .I just had lower back surgery, a fusion with a cage.My dr.have me the fentanal 50MCG PATCHES,WITH 60 MG OF MS CONTIN EVERY 12 HRS. AM I GONNA BE OK IM MORE AFRAID OF OVER DOING IT .IM ALSO SUPPOSE TO BE ON 15 MG of roxy every 4 hrs as well but i haven't gotten them filled yet. My main question is am i takin to much 60 ms cotin with 50MCG OF FENTAYL?? I hope i could get some simple feedback on this.thank you.

Whether or not such dosages are too much is entirely relative to the person taking them. It may be too much for some people, but not for others. If you are really concerned about overdose, you could speak to your doctor about starting small, then working up to taking more, if you need to do so.

The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Have you tried taking them, yet? What is your pain level?

A month b4 i started seeing this dr. I was seeing another dr and he had me on 120 mg (2-60mg pills of Ms Cotin) a day with 240 mg (8-30 mg of Roxicodone) a day. I think i got a pretty high tolerance from what i was on in Dec that started back in 2013. The reason im concerned is I'VE NEVER taken Fentanyl prior to this surgery. I just cant wait to get off all this s*** now that i got the procedure done. I know it's not gonna happen overnight but i do believe ill get through the withdrawals with some help from GOD and my ambitious to live a normal life.
