It is a birth control pill. It comes with a pack of 21 pills. The pill is small white in color. This pill was prescribed by a doctor when I was in India and I would like to know if its available in US.

Hi. I have irregular periods and PCOS. My doc advised me femilon for 21 days. So I started n completed one pack and it's been 5 days since I stopped the tablet, but I didn't get my periods yet. Should I wait for periods or start the next pack after the 7th day?

Hi, I have been on femilon for more than a year now. I got my last period on 12th Dec and started this month's femilon pack of 21 on that very day. On 23rd I had unprotected sex and missed my pill on that day however I had two pills the next day and have been taking the normal 1 pill daily after that. Am I protected against pregnancy?if I stop my pill now (I still have 8 to go before the pack finishes) will there be any risks?

Yes, though it is most often found in the US under other names, a name brand for it here would be Desogen and a generic Apri.
