i presented at the outpatient dept. with signs and symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection. i was prescribed with Fedac by the attending physician. when i first took Fedac, i felt that i was slightly trembling, but i haven't associated it with Fedac intake until i took the second dosage of fedac later that evening. i became anxious and googled Fedac. i realized then that i failed to inform my doctor that i was diagnosed with goiter. for sure i will not be taking the 3rd dosage as i have discovered that it had exacerbated my hyperthyroidism. but my problem no is what should i do about my trembling? will i be okay now that i had taken 2 dosages of fedac?

Hi Jane,

Are you still experiencing trembling now that you stopped taking Fedac? I would think that it should subside as the drug filters out of your system.

Usually though when you're taking antibiotics the average duration that they should be taken is 7-10 days to completely kill the infection and decrease any risk of the infection coming back. Since you had to stop Fedac so suddenly there is a good chance that the infection may not be completely gone, although you can always take additional precautions by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables which naturally fight infections and bacteria.

I hope this helps!
