Fatty Liver And Sulfameth Trimethoprim

In a recent cat scan, It was shown that I have an enlarged prostrate and a fatty liver. My urologist prescribed sulfameth trimethoprim for the prostate.Are there any risks to my liver if I take the prescription?

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

Most medications are processed through the liver and will have some effect, the parts that must be watched closely are how bad a state your liver is in and the dosage of the medication being used.
