Fatigue After Astrazeneca Covid Vaccine

Updated

Had Astrazeneca vaccine a week ago. Now I get extreme tiredness, dropped my coffee, etc. Has anyone else gone through this? I'm 68 yrs old with asthma.

Fatigue is a common side effect of the vaccine, and how long it lasts can vary from person to person. Other side effects may include administration site reactions, such as soreness, and swelling. Some people also experience a headache.

Ref: COVID vaccine.

Are you on any other medications?

It would also be a good idea to consult your doctor, to make sure that this isn't due to some other issue.

I had Astrazeneca in July 2nd jab. I'm 68 with copd. Also did Epclusa treatment 3 yrs ago which has left me with compromised immune system. Since then, it has made my C.O.P.D asthma worse. Also get extremely tired and more breathless than usual, no energy, nauseas, puffy feet. I really don't think this vaccine should have been given to me. Every time I try to ring contact number for side effects it is engaged. Has anybody else had problems with this vaccine lasting this long? I just hope not permanent. My Dr hasn't a clue about what's happening. Any info appreciated. Thanks

Hang in there it's worth it I had extreme fatigue ringing in my ear still exist but all of the side effects of disappeared I'm 57 years old I dealt with hepatitis and liver disease for decades to the point to where my system was about shutting down when this miracle drug eclipsa came out I dealt with severe side effects the first year the second year still some side effects now I'm 3 years post treatment and I feel better now than I've ever felt I feel like I'm 17 or 18 again so I promise you it's worth it the main thing don't drink alcohol which I completely stopped eat healthy and know you have a second chance of a good life but it's up to you to watch what you put in your body if you do that the side effects will eventually go away except for maybe the ear ringing but that's manageable hang in there it's worth it and my viral load was over a million parts per now completely cured but you have to eat healthy and exercise and taking a nap everyday will help I've been doing it for years
