Fast Heart Rate While On Metoprolol
UpdatedBeen on this for a month and heart is still racing at times. Sometimes it's ok, on the slow side, but like tonight it's 105 beats per minute. This happens almost every day at some time during the day.

What is your normal heart rate?
What are you doing that has been causing it to go up, if anything?
Have you been smoking, taking in caffeine, or etc?
Even if you are on a medication, there are certain times your heart rate will still go up, whether or not it's a problem depends on why it is occurring.
If you've been active, it's going to elevate your heart rate, which is actually what you want to occur at such times. If you've been drinking caffeinated coffee, or sodas, it is going to cause your heart rate to elevate.
