Famotidine / Side Effect

Does this pill help anyone produce a bowel movement? I swear I have to go within 30 minutes of every time I take this pill. Feedback please!

Yes, it can cause that as a side effect in some people that take it, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, stomach pain, and flatulence.

Are you on any other medications? How often do you take it? Do you get diarrhea, or just a regular bowel movement?

I take 20mg every morning, along with aspirin, blood pressure medication & a beta blocker. At first i got diarrhea from it then my body got use to it. Now it works like a dream. On some days if I have a morning workout I do not take Famotidine. I was prescribed it after an Aortic Dissection surgery and I wish I knew about it decades ago. I've just learned that I can buy it at a certain shopping club over the counter.
