Well, I was going to ask the same thing as Lisa.

Famotidine is a generic for Pepcid, which is an antacid that is used to treat or prevent heartburn, GERD, ulcers, and gastritis.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, flatulence, and stomach pain.
