Been taking 100 mg. liquid methadone a day for about 5 yrs. (at a clinic)Recently was told I had been testing neg. for Methadone (oral swab test) for multiple mos.(8 I think) and got my 5 take home privileges revoked! Anyone know how I could test negative for something I take a hefty (100 mg) dose of each day???? Is there something wrong w/me medically I should know about or what??Thanx for any reply!!

Hi SuZu,I have jst had a false negative swab test for methadone which I take 30ml daily but in a split dose,so I dnt understand why?my worker has told me if swab cums bck negative I'm gna loose my wkly pickup which I rely on as I work.I hope u got to the bottom of yours?&if so if u can give me any advice/information on how this negative tes could of happened I b very greatful as if I loose my scriptt,I haveo other choice but to start using again&I have come too far in my recovery for this to happen.Much Regards
