False Positive On Drug Test For Thc

I have been injected with steroids 3 times in the last four weeks, I am prescribed 70mg Vyvanse, and 1800 Ibuprofen daily and I have my first pee test on Tuesday with my PO and I am very scared that it will show thc. Is this true and would I still be in trouble even though my PO is well aware of what I am taking?

Hi Michelle,

I can certainly understand your concern for THC showing up on your drug test, since Ibuprofen is known to cause false positives for Marijuana (THC).

In my opinion, your best bet would be to reference any articles of information stating that this is in fact a possibility that they should be made aware of. I would also bring copies of your prescription to the lab and even let your PO be made aware of this as well.
