I falsed a urine test with small trace of cocaine in it. I do not use but i do have cancer and take a lot of medication including lidocaine cream at least 4 times a day from having my breasts removed

Hi, please help. I am in the same situation and need support. I had surgery, and lidocaine was used. I failed a drug test for cocaine; my test involved an injection into my bloodstream. I have been denied a great job.

Laura - YES LIDOCAINE CAN cause a false positive...ALL THESE POSTS are making me so mad! I will tell you this- I KNEW a LAB WORKER who came across a RELATIVE'S urine sample. They knew this relative was a heavy cocaine user. What do you think she did? She simply swapped the urine sample with another male's clean sample. We are in a country that THIS KIND OF CRIMINAL MESS is rampant and SO SO EASY to do. I do not "know" that person anymore . I have medical issues and it infuriated me.And IF I DIDN'T HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES, YES, IT WOULD STILL INFURIATE ME. I, anonymously, told "authorities" about this and was laughed at. So I sent a letter to the lab that was typed, and reported it. 3 years later and she's still working there. The people that work in these "labs" are just THAT..PEOPLE. And people do stupid $%@#!!! So SORRY for your nightmare. It is so screwed up...UGH.

Did you go to Omega Lab? It happened to me as well. {edited for privacy}. Omega Lab Test Center must be contaminated because I never used drugs and they tested me positive for cocaine. I am mad...

On April 13,17 I had to have an emergency c-section in order to give birth to my beautiful baby girl. Where the doctor filled me up with a lot of epidurals that numb me from head to toe for hours. The nurses had to watch me closely til the feeling came back into my legs and body. After I gained feeling back in my body the nurses brought me my baby to feed. I stayed in the hospital til the doctor released us on the 15th of April. Before we could be released from the hospital the staff called Dcf on me. And I had to leave without my baby girl til I got word from the courthouse. Once I found out my court date I had to take a drug test on May 1st, 2017 which came back positive for oxycodone. But I was taking pain medicine that was prescribed by my doctor yet the state wouldn't accept it in court. And I still had to go through numerous tests which I passed, but my hair still came up positive for cocaine and benzocaine which I DON'T do. Please please I need some questions to be answered in order to help me with my case to fight against the state so I can get my children back home.

I hate to say this, but people use Lidocaine to make Cocaine, hence why when you touch Cocaine to your tongue it gets numb. But this is actually common sense ;)

I know this is an old post but my situation is identical. Every bit down to not seeing my baby. I've taken about 50 and even ask for them to prove the lies but nope. 1st positive...cocaine. NO WAY. I have lupus and use Lidocaine Hydrochloride gel. So many antibiotics..and meds, all new. I finally was able to afford to go back to court as a fighter who survived, to get smashed...

Yes that's why.. I'm currently fighting for custody of my daughter. She was born a preemie. After I gave birth I tested positive for cocaine and I never used it.. Also my my case worker doesn't believe it either but she's still not on my side. It's best you get a list of all meds you were given while in the hospital. I'd get a nurse to write affidavit.. Might need a lawyer. I had to get one.

I started using topical medication cream that has to 2.5 percent lidocaine and prilocaine. I just so happened to use a lot on my knees before a drug test where I didn't wash my hands and my drug test came out positive for cocaine which I have never touched. Could this topical medication cream metabolize in your blood system or off my hands into the urine and cause a false positive?

I've been on oxycodone for 7 yrs and I had a urinalysis that showed positive for coke. I have not used coke, but I'm on liquid lidocaine viscous. Would that interfere with your results?

Jeremy, you are misinformed re methadone it is a great pain reliever for people who cannot afford OxyContin. I am not an addict however I have Degenerated Disc Disease and methadone takes away my pain. It does not make me feel high like OxyContin can.

In this day and age with DEA regulators up everyone's butt would EVER legit. Rx that obscene combination of Opiod containing drugs.I'm a lifelong chronic pain patient with a tolerance and that combined dosage would send me into respitory arrest so I suggest you research your dosage because those numbers are incoherently inaccurate !!!!

No absolutely nothing wrong with that at all however I question the medical efficiency of prescribing a total of 650 mg. of oxycodone per day. There are far more effective options without exceeding toxic levels of oxycodone . If you were to research the toxicity levels of said drug you may find some eye opening results.
Ps. Not to mention this is a false positive for lidocaine thread. NOT an OxyContin / oxycodone thread.

Andy, I have had to take iOxycontin 80 6xs a day plus 6 30 mg oxycodone for severe Degenerative Disc Disease. Obviously, you have never experienced our pain. Thus you need to keep your ideas to your self. I can now get out of bed, hold my children and play them. If that is wrong?

It's a lie. Nobody could or would take all those in 1 day. Not only would it kill the worst of addicts but no doctor would prescribe that many per day and there is no prescription that comes with the amount of pills claimed and nobody except very rich people could afford a habit like that.
