False Positive On Drug Test For Both Pcp And Methadone

I've seen 2 people recently, in the ER for psych evals, who have had urine drug screens show positive for both PCP and Methadone (neither uses either drug). One is a 33yoF, the other is 81yoM. The only common factor I've found so far is that they both take Rhythmol. Anyone ever heard of this?

I just found this question because my mom (75yoF) just showed positive for PCP and methadone in a urine drug screen. She also takes Rythmol (has for many years), but has recently developed psychiatric symptoms.

Was there ever any follow-up on this? If the original poster sees this, I would love to find out more.

Yours is the first response I've had and I still haven't found any other related info anywhere. Just today, I sent a question to the manufacturer about this. I'll let you know what kind of response I get.
