I took a urine drug test for my job and they said it came back positive for methamphetamine, but I dont use methamphetamine. I've just been real sick the whole week before and took a lot of diff. meds to break da fevers and my bad cough. What could have caused it to come up positive?

I got let go of from my pain clinic for testing positive for methamphetamine and I don't do it. Now I'm having a hard time getting into anther one and l need to know what I can do?

I take methocarbamol and I had to take a drug test and I failed for methamphetamine or something. I do not do drugs. Can you please help me? Did this medication cause me to fail my test? I need to know. Thank you.

I need to know what meds will prolong getting clean from methamphetamine (in regards to mental health meds)? I'm still testing dirty 8 days later and am wondering if any of my meds make it show positive for methamphetamine?

I came out dirty on a drug test for methamphetamine and all I take is quetiapine fumarate with buspirone hcl.

I am possibly going to be kicked put of Pain Management and turned into the DEA for a false positive drug test that shows positive for methamphetamine! I DO NOT take methamphetamine! There is question of chain of custody for my sample, as the specimen container had no identifiable information on it; which has never happened. Also the person who took my sample is someone I had never seen before! But, the probability of the Dr's office admitting to wrong doing are slim to none! So I am trying to figure out if something I was taking could cause it. I take Omeprazole, Amitriptyline, Zyrtec otc, Phenergan, Oxycodone, Baclofen, and Xanax as needed. But rarely take either as don't like feeling blah! And I was on samples of Dexilant and Linzess from my stomach Dr.. I had taken Sudafed as well. I told the nurse all of this but she didn't write it down. The results were odd in that it was a high amount of methamphetamine. But no amphetamines at all. It was like pure methamphetamine was put into my sample. The Dr even said it was odd. So I am waiting for the Dr to have my sample retested a 3rd time! As well as chain of custody investigated. I really like this Dr! So I am not just embarrassed. I am heartbroken! I am scared to death of being black listed and treated like a pariah for this and being kicked out of all pain management for this! Also, the urine sample was taken in May. I was not told about it until July 3rd! Shouldn't I have had an opportunity to get another sample taken as soon as they received the results back in May? I appreciate any help or info possible! Thank you!

I recently got charged for dwi and had to submit a blood test before being took to jail. I was taking adderall 30mg every morning and 10 at night, which I had taken less than an hour before being stopped for a "headlight out" at 11pm. A few weeks later i was charged for possession of methamphetamine. My lawyer said it was because the tox report stated no adderall was present, just amphetamines. I know for a fact i had not done such a thing since i was a teen, so how can this be or should i be pursuing different council?

My husband just took a urine test for work and had a false positive for methamphetamine. We aren't too worried about it because he just brings his meds in plus they send it off to the lab and break it down and since we know he hasn't done any methamphetamine we aren't really all that worried, but anyway he takes two and a half 8 mg strips of suboxone each day and 20 mg of prozac. So I'm curious which one or if it was the combination of both that caused it? Or was it something over the counter he has taken for gas? Pain? Or acid reflux?

Will taking hydrocodone make you test positive for methamphetamine in a urine drug test? And it also has amphetamines on it. They are 10/325.

Does Sudafed cause false positives for methamphetamine? I have been accused twice of being positive for methamphetamine, but have been "clean" from illegal drugs. However I had taken Sudafed immediately prior to submitting the urine for urinalysis.

I have had a court order for a hair follicle test and it came back positive for methamphetamine. I DO NOT DO methamphetamine or any other drugs other than my prescribed drugs or over the counter meds. I need to find out what could cause a false positive for methamphetamine so I DO NOT lose my son to his dad. I just recently had surgery 3 weeks ago for my ankle from a car accident.

I have been taking Bupropion for about 7 months and I am on probation. I had 2 months left on paper and I had a positive hit on my ua test for methamphetamine. Can Bupropion be the cause?

I had a mouth swab come up positive for methamphetamine and I did not take methamphetamine. I take Adderall and also had taken Nyquil, Benadryl, Allegra D and several other cold and allergy meds because I was sick; as well as my Zoloft. Why would I test positive for methamphetamine?

Allegra-D it had Sudafed in it which can give a false positive. I know for sure positive for amphetamines but not 100% for methamphetamines
