False Positive For Drug Screen At Pm Doc

I have been a PM patient for 5 years, been with same Doc now for 3 years. I'm prescribed Kadian 50MG 2x daily for spinal stenosis. This clinic does random testing and I have been tested numerous times, never failed one. Never failed a drug screen in my life actually. Yesterday a very routine visit and routine test (according to Doc) revealed Oxycodone. I have taken oxycodone before, last time being about 3 years ago. I know 1000 percent I couldn't have failed the test but was stunned. To my Doc's credit, he didn't flip out, he assured me false positives happen about 10% of the time and said it was no big deal. He did say he would send it off for lab testing (some gas test or something). There was only 1 other patient there at the time so I'm hoping nothing was switched, but I do not comprehend how a test would confirm a drug (oxycodone) in this case, that was clearly not in my system. Glad Doc didn't freak (though I found that strange, a little), but its a huge deal to me, knowing I haven't taken Oxy. I literally take nothing but the Kadian he prescribes. This is a nightmare, how is this possible if someone truly hasn't taken what the test revealed???????
