False Positive Drug Test Gabapentin (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Hi my name is rosie, and I have been on neurontin/gabapentin goin on 2mnths now for my nerve pain n my legs from my diabetes,well ne way I've takin 2 urine test and dey com up positive, I dnt take ne other meds bsides wat my doctor prescribe 4 my diabetes. I take gabapentin 300 mg 1 cap e'er 12 hrs.

Benzoylecgonine and sometimes cocaine metabolites have come up for me. And I only take Metformin, Synthroid, Valsartan, Naproxen, Gabapentin, and sometimes Benardryl for my allergies.

I just took a drug test for the clinic and I tested positive for methadone, which is fine, and opiates, which I haven't taken! I take 800 mg of neurotin. I've tested positive before at the other clinic for opiates when I know I haven't taken any. So my counselor decided to check into the pill neurotin with the lab. They said, "Neurotins have a substance in them that will cause a false positive for opiates."

Hi i am in rehab too and on zubsolv and got a false positive for gabapentin(neuroton) and am on a 30 day restriction! I did not take anything that would even make that show up...i dont know what to do...did i ever get an explanation why u tested for false positive for neuroton?

I just failed a test for gabapentin and I swear the only thing I have taken is Ibuprofen 800 Mg when I had a headache, so I think it made me fail my drug test

I've had a false positive for methadone and believe it was seroquel that caused it. My roomate was positive for methadone as well and took seroquel. Its just the way your body reacts to the meds is all I can guess cause it doesn't happen all the time.

I have taken gabapentin for 9 yrs and u need 2 give it about 3 mos and decide then it it helps. It has 2 build up in your system 2 achieve max relief

Over the counter drugs . Geritol-fastin diet pill-ibuprofen800 mg----prescriptions---lasix--seroquel--aldactone--elavil--flexeril--zanaflex--requip--effexor xr---metformin hcl--prilosec---naproxen---crestor---reglan---zantac---klompin---coreg.---insulin---humulin R--- will any of these cause barbiturates to show in urine test?
