Fake Green Oval Xanax S902

Are there fake xanax s 902 green oval pills going around? Just had a prescription refilled at the pharmacy and they're not working at all compared to my normal blue ones.

I'm not aware of any fakes being reported and it would be very odd to get fakes from a licensed pharmacy.

However, the FDA does allow generics to differ in the amount of the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20% from the name brand, so these ones might be a little lower in it, which could cause them to not work as well for you.

The FDA warns that this mediation carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Got the same ones at a pharmacy--I was up all night...I am so angry. How can they get away with that?

The green ones are extended release. You have probably built up tolerance and your body has been used to getting that immediate release.

Is this from an American pharmacy or UK? Online? Some manufacturing companies in Indonesia and such get away with putting a much lower amount of the active ingredient than stated on the label. Those companies are usually not suppliers for anything other than fraudulent online suppliers. They have been known to send medicine that is at least 10 years old.

That information is very inaccurate. I've been in the pharmaceutical industry for just over 4 years now. The only thing the FDA approves pharmacy generic meds to do is change things that won't alter or affect the effects or effectiveness of, in this case, the benzo molecule (ex. dyes, fillers, etc.). The active ingredient is still EXACTLY the same, regardless of whether or not you choose to purchase generic or name-brand.

I respect your position in the industry. I however, have a very low tolerance for Xanax and receive 15 if any for a month. I received the light green oval marked S 902 scored. I have taken 4 where as a half of the previous prescriptions I take a half a tablet and am out. I honestly believe there are fake prescriptions of this medication as well as Ativan. Without a doubt as I am 50 years old and a cancer patient. At this point I know my body and what to expect for every medication as I have researched most all of it prior to taking. I poked around considering requesting name brand on the Ativan. It was a ridiculous $1200 a month. I can see why they are importing fakes. My total prescriptions with the non-name brands totals $3,600 a month. And to give me fakes? I reported this to the insurance carrier but, what can anyone do.

They're prob talking about the ir, the s302. Does anyone know the size they come in? I wanna know if the pharmacist switched them because she looked all high on something.

First thing 0 that is oval....
Second it is xanax you can even taste it
3rd You ptolly cant feel it because your a addict tht has taken them too long I hate false info ... Nearly cussed someone out b4 reading everyone elses reviews !

I hear you. Not being to shut down my brain a bit to be able to sleep. How can the FDA would allow a genetic medications be allowed to be on the market! This goes for all meds that are useless for an illness to be controlled. And, the worst part is what country these genetic come from. Yes I'm POed. The FDA should be shut down and bring in conscience reputable, higher standeres and ethical new system to take over and correct this lousy method that are under dosing people in for something that works at its best for Americans health.

The green bars with only three bars are not extended release I can promise you that all the extended-release are square with a big round triangular bubble in the middle I'll take that back they are triangular with a big round bubble in the middle like a big huge bubble coming out of a small triangle extended release are in no shape form or fashion in the shape of a bar

No, not at a pharmacy but the generics do change. The fda doesn't want it really known but the reason generics are so cheap is that they are allowed to be 10% off in the active drug so a lot of cut corners and at a lot of places big pharmacies pay inspectors off to only come once in a blue moon so they can use even less. The davas are good but if you're talking about the round blue R 031 that are made by actavis, I think they are a little better. But honestly the best generics are greenstone. They are made by pfizer who makes actual xanax and they use 100% active or at leadt 95% or more so they would be stronger than all the rest. They are hard to find though. You have to call around a bit and ask if they can order them for you. Honestly all the potency of real xanax for a lesser price or free.

Got news for you. The insurance companies buy the manufactures of generics you get and block the ones with less problems.

I say the same. My round mylan tablets do not work. They're green, football shaped, and do nothing.
