Ezetimibe Withdrawal

Can't find any good reason why I should not stop taking Ezetimibe 10 mg.
I have arthritis also and the pain has increased with this med.
Any suggestions?

Joint aches, and pain can be a normal side effect of most cholesterol medications, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, and headache.
Greta, overall, it is really up to you, no one, including your doctor, can force you to take any given medication. I am not a doctor, so I can't tell anyone they should, or shouldn't take anything, but I can tell you how things work in the U.S. healthcare system. You also always have the right to seek a second opinion, if you aren't certain you have any given medical condition, or should be taking any specific medication.
What are your cholesterol numbers? Are you on any other medications?
I have a constantly runny nose. Not a seasonal effect.
Also zetia adds to the fatigue I get from osteoarthritis and increases the aches.
I wonder if it is worth taking this med when my diet is definitely low cholesterol and my numbers are not extremely high.
