Extremely Dry Skin, Sore Eyes
UpdatedTaking 25mg of levothyroxine for 5 yrs. with reg. follow up and tests. I am now experiencing extremely dry skin and dry, sore eyes. I've tried everything but nothing helping. Any suggestions?

Hi Cindy,
Unless you think you may be dehydrated or having an allergy to a certain food or skincare ingredient, my only guess is that your body is just not accepting this medication any more. Over time, our body chemistry changes and reacts differently to things. Have you spoken with your doctor about this?
