Expired Implanon (Page 2) (Top voted first)

Hi. I have had the implanon since 2012. It is now due to be removed. It was expired on april 28, 2015. Today is september 12 2015 and I still have it. I got my first menstrual since march on sep. 2015. Is the implanon officially done working? Should I be worried? Am I healthy?

I've just recently had my inplanon removed I got it in Dec 2010 and had it removed Dec 2017 i actually forgot I was suppose to have it removed.... Needless to say it was 4years expired and I did not get pregnant I was also told that the hormones still release in your body well after the 3 to 4years are up!

If you can’t afford to get it removed you shouldn’t try to get pregnant. A baby is way more expensive than trying to get an implanon removed duhh

I’ve had my implanon for 6 years the doctor couldn’t find mine an I’ve had surgery 6 times trying to remove it and it’s still not removed. I got mine in 2012 an it’s 2018 an I still haven’t got pregnant
