Expired Dyazide

Does anyone know what would happen if I took one the the referenced pills if it's expired for a year?

The worst that will happen with this type of pill is it might be slightly less effective, very few pills actually get dangerous with age and this is not one of them, All of them do, however, lose potency over time, so it might not be as strong as it was when you first filled your prescription.

I am concerned here about the fact that you are trying to self-diagnose, though. If you are experiencing edema/swelling, there could be several reasons for it, and taking a pill that was prescribed to treat an old condition might not be appropriate for this one if your condition has changed.

You should really consult your doctor to rule out serious problems.
