hi i went to the clinic yesterday with a problem of having a discharge than the nurse gave me doxytet only to find when i got home that the pills expired in July 2013 i only took two pills will i any side effects in my body?

Sorry to hear about your experience with getting older medication.
With most types of drugs, the only thing you'd have to be concerned about it is if it lost any potency.
However, when it comes to specific types of antibiotics (namely those associated with tetracycline, such as Doxytet/Doxytetracycline), it can become toxic after the expiration date.
I honestly wouldn't recommend taking any and if possible go and try to get your money back from the clinic. It's a good thing you checked first before taking the full prescription, because you never know what type of risks you're dealing with when it comes to things like liver toxicity until it's too late.
