I have xanax from 2010 can you tell me if they are still ok to use?

They don't become dangerous, once expired, but they do lose effectiveness over time, so they will likely not very well. It would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription.

The FDA warns that this benzodiazepine may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

The majority of my collection Verwon is from 2012 and under lock and key in another location. Because of this I have found myself using more recent prescriptions. I did pull out a couple 2012 bottles and they seem to work fine. I know liquid medicine loses potency over time but should I really worry about it? When they were here they were subject to high temperatures, now they are packed away in an air conditioned vault. I recently visited them to stuff the bottles with cotton as well for all the good it will do.
