my azithromycin has expired by 2 mos. is it still good

If they are still sealed in the original factory container, they are good for about 4 to 5 years. But if they are in a container as dispensed by a pharmacy, they are only good for about one year from the date they are given to you, since that exposes them to the elements that cause degradation, such as heat, light and moisture.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
