Experation Date?

I have a bad UTI I have some of this medicine left from March 2014, unsure why I still have it. Would it still be affective?

Hello, Kay! How are you? What medication are you asking about? I'm sorry, but you forgot to mention it.

As reported by the NIH, most medications are only good for a year from the time you receive them from your pharmacy. That is the maximum time they can be guaranteed to maintain full efficacy, under the average storage conditions.

It is different, of course, for medications that are still sealed in the original factory sealed container.
