Excellium, Cardinal Health Or Mylan Lorazepam?
(Newest replies first)

Updated

I used to take Qualitest lorazepam but it was discontinued. I had to switch but Watson / Actavis does not work and causes side effects. Most pharmacies carry Actavis. My local Walgreens carries Sandoz which is similar to Watson. Another local pharmacy carries Mylan or cardinal health.

Anyone tried Cardinal health or Mylan lorazepam and worked ok?

Where can I get excellium lorazepam 1mg?

I called 30 pharmacies in my area but none deal with it. I heard excellium lorazepam works well.

Hi curious if you tried the leading.. I’ve been on Mylan for years only one that has worked without problems. Now it being discontinued they gave me Activas and it makes me zonked out feel spacey but still anxious! I’m in Massachusetts and the only other one they have anywhere is leading...

Mylan works really well for me. Only problem is my pharmacy called me today and said the 1mg and 2mg are on backorder. And they said their supplier can-not get 0.5mgs. So they gave me Leading Brand which I believe is made by Excellium/Major Pharmaceuticals I believe it's spelled. Has a EP 905 on one side and 1 on the other. They had a small amount of my Mylan and filled rest with Leading Brand. Which I believe as I said is made by Excellium/Major Pharmaceuticals. That's what I Googled anyway. I could be wrong. I sure wished Wyeth Pharmaceuticals still made the brand name Ativan. I took the brand name for years with no problems ever. No drug tolerances at all. It just worked like a charm. I understand all the hoopla about what rhe FDA allows pharmaceutical companies that make generics within certain tolerances. I just don't think it's right that that's how they do it though. Watson/Actavis/Sandoz/Pure as most of you know are all the same maker. Most people I talk to say Mylan works well. I just don't know how this Leading Brand is going to work for me. I'm not looking forward to this at all again. Hope this helps you. Cheers!

The main issue here is that this is a potentially addictive substance, according to FDA warnings. Thus, most pharmacies are not going to give you an honest answer, because they don't know if someone calling is a legitimate patient with a need, or a possible drug seeker that might want to rob them. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and irritability.

The best way to get the most honest answer from a pharmacy is to go in, with your prescription in hand, and ask them. That way they know you are a real customer in need.

As to your question, I used to take the generic manufactured by Mylan, and it worked great for me, but we are all different, so it may not work as well for you. The only way to see how it will work for you is by trying it.

Has anyone else tried any other brands?
