Hello, could you please advise if it's appropriate to use Evion or Urcosol to treat a fatty liver? I have been diagnosed with this condition and I also consume whiskey on the weekends. Thank you.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver can be reversed with lifestyle changes. Make sure your Lipid profile, blood sugar and bp is under control... Rigorous exercise (5 days in a week), lot of fruits and vegetables can definitely reverse the disease... There is no medication for the treatment of fatty liver disease... Ursodox 300 and Udilliv are prescribed for reducing the cholesterol absorption in the gall bladder and hence preventing any formation of calcium deposits or stones.
