Etova Er 400 Elevated Creatinine

My mother is 7O yrs old, she has been taking Etova for arthritis, but now her creatinine level is high. Should she stop this medication?

That could signify a developing kidney problem.

This medication is a NSAID and they usually have more of an effect on the liver, rather than the kidneys.

Has she consulted her doctor? Have they told her to stop taking it?
