Estrogen Methyltestos Ds Tab Side Effects

Is it possible one of the side effects is iching all over? I have been taking this and just got switched to a higher dose. Have been taking the higher dose for about 2 weeks and today have some iching problem. Ich all over!, even my hands. No cold or flu symptoms.

Hi Rachel,

itching, rashes, or hives, are actually caused by a severe allergic reaction to this medication. It seems like it just took a while to build up in your system before your body recognized it as being allergenic.

The medication guidelines suggest that you seek medical attention right away if you do experience a severe reaction such as this one. I wouldn't feel too worried as long as you are able to stop the medication asap and schedule a visit with your doctor to assess the situation and get that itching to stop.

I believe so. I just began this medication and noticed some itching in my nape/ back of neck area. I had just began an exersize program a couple weeks ago so I didn't think anything of it. Until I began to get a rash/ acne on the back of my neck and upper back and a little on my chest area. It does itch as well. That is when I realized the only thing that could be causing it is the new medication and I have been on it for about 3 1/2 wks now. I am calling the Dr. first thing in the morning.
Good luck finding a different med. that works.
