Estratest Solution

I too have taken estratest in its original formulation for 6 yrs with great results post hysterectomy, in conjunction with a Femring .05. The original medication is no longer available. The generic in half dose or double strength did not work for me, especially in regards to libido. I am now using the Femring in conjunction with a compounded testosterone cream from Koshland in SF at .5 per pump, one pump per day. It has only been a few weeks, but this regime works and I feel as I did using the original estratest. I hope this helps other women who have been affected by this arbitrary pharmaceutical decision with no advance warning to us, other than to pick up your prescription which is no longer the same, be told it's the same, and then have to deal with the agonizing fallout of a hormone change or depletion. Good luck.
